Membership in Boomer Authority™ Reaches 1000 Plateau

Boasting a broad array of critically-acclaimed professionals from around the world, Boomer Authority™ Association is poised for major growth as new initiatives are readied for national rollout in 2010.


Membership in Boomer Authority™ reached the 1,000 plateau in January, making it the largest global association of its kind, bringing together men and women from 17 countries and from every professional discipline serving and fulfilling the needs of the 50+ Baby Boomer and Beyond marketplace.

“We are proud to have so many distinguished men and women actively communicating, collaborating and cooperating on the important issues affecting the Baby Boomer generation,” said Boomer Authority™ CEO, Martin Diano and Publisher of Baby Boomer [Knowledge Center]™.

Launched in April 2009, Boomer Authority™ members include publishers of the most successful and most visited Boomer-centric websites, blogs and social networking communities ─ covering topics from menopause to Alzheimer’s to aging gracefully to living abroad to geriatric care to wealth preservation, to grandparenting to the spectrum of available technologies that address the issue of aging.

The value membership in Boomer Authority™ extends to the advertising community, with numerous advertising, PR, and marketing executives specializing in mature marketing counted among its membership. In 2009, Boomer Authority™ and the International Mature Marketing Network entered into a collaborative alliance.

Also in 2009, Boomer Authority™ launched a platform for its members to extend and expand their brand, increase traffic to their blog or website and generate more incremental revenue possibilities, with the signing of an exclusive agreement with Navigate Boomer Media, a marketing and online advertising rep firm. Members of Boomer Authority™ that publish a web site, blog, social networking community and/or host a radio show are able to opt-in to have Navigate Boomer Media sell advertising on their behalf. Diano said it is the world’s largest Boomer-specific publishers’ ad network with over 100 publishers reaching an estimated 2 million boomers.

In the coming months Boomer Authority™ is involved as a marketing partner and/or sponsor in three national Boomer business events ─ a Boomer Business Summit in March, a Boomer Lifestyle Conference in April, and a Reaching the Boomer Consumer Workshop in May.

Professionals and organizations possessing special expertise that especially helps Baby Boomers with either a product or a professional service are eligible to join Boomer Authority™. Membership is free.
